Friday, May 2 is a Marketing BootCamp from 12p to 4p. We have six hard-hitting, rapid-fire sessions happening with a Q and A panel discussion at the end of the day. Bring a note pad and get ready! These sessions will happen one after the other, but don’t worry, we’ll have some snacks for you to keep your energy up. It’s going to be a fun afternoon. Tickets are limited.

Saturday, May 3 is all about WordPress from 8a to 4p.  We’ll have sessions for every experience level. We’re getting into it all. From the basic nuts and bolts to getting under the hood and seeing what makes a WordPress site work and what you can do to make it work better and smarter. Our speaker line-up is shaping up to be really powerful… we’ll release that soon, you won’t want to miss out!

Breakfast, lunch and and some oh-so-sweet swag will be provided Saturday.

Art, Craft, and Herb Fair at Quail Hollow State Park @ Quail Hollow State Park

This annual special event takes place this year at Quail Hollow State Park Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., AND Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Artisans will be stationed on all three floors of the historic Stewart manor house and on the lawn surrounding the home. The Quail Hollow Herbal Society will hold its annual plant sale with over 150 varieties of culinary, decorative, herbs and flowering plants.  Food items will be on sale including sandwiches, snacks and soft drinks. Sponsored by the Quail Hollow Herbal Society and the Quail Hollow Volunteer Association.

History of Hartville’s Asplin & Longaberger Basket Factories @ Cornerstone Mennonite Church

Learn the interesting history of the Asplin and Longaberger Basket factories formerly located in Hartville from former employees who worked for the companies.

Speakers will share their special memories in the church sanctuary, and displays and intermission will be in the fellowship hall.

This special event is free and open to the public.  Come enjoy light refreshments, and dress casually.   It is sponsored by the Lake Township Historical Society.

Pegasus Farm’s “A Night at the Derby” @ Glenmoor Country Club
May 3 @ 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Join us at Glenmoor Country Club for a night of racing excitement! “Night at the Derby” is a fundraising event featuring a live broadcast of the 140th Kentucky Derby, video racing, traditional Derby fare and of course–hats!

Our evening will kickoff with a cocktail reception featuring our guests of honor, two of our therapy horses, and will be followed by a live airing of the 140th Kentucky Derby!  Guests can then try their luck at video horse racing hosted by Final Touch Entertainment.   Ladies can flaunt their style in a traditional Derby hat contest and our auction will feature both equestrian-themed and non-equestrian packages.

Tickets are $75 per person and all proceeds from the evening benefit the therapeutic equestrian program at Pegasus Farm. To reserve your ticket, please call (330)935-2300, ext. 106.
