Marketing / Tourism
Helps to generate and design revenue-producing ideas and events to support the Chamber and promote all of Lake Township with community events and major no-dues fundraisers for the Chamber. Identify business sponsorship opportunities, market the Chamber and businesses in the area. Promotes interaction of the residents of the community with the businesses.

Economic Development Team
Promotes cooperation between all businesses, civic organizations and governmental entities in Lake Township. Develops an action plan for economic development that will assist in attraction and retention of businesses in Lake Township. Helps make the community "Business Friendly."

Pro-Business Advocacy Team
Monitors and publishes public issues and is an active organization for the business community. Oversees the Candidate Night Team.

Candidate Night Team
Arranges for local candidates, primarily those running for office in Lake Township, to meet citizens via a public forum and answer pertinent questions. Invites the candidates, publicizes the event to the public, reserves the space and coordinates the lighting and sound requirements. This event is normally held in the Performing Arts Hall of the Lake Community Center. This team works under the leadership of the committee head of the Pro Business Advocacy Committee.

Annual Awards Dinner Team
Schedules the dinner in September, designs and sends invitations, tallies RSVP’s, invites leadership award selections, and new board of director members. Designs the program, has it printed, makes recommendation to the board for the speaker, and arranges for the master of ceremonies. Works in concert with the Leadership Awards Team and the Board Member Nominating Team.

Leadership Awards Team
Seeks nominations, coordinates same, arranges for the awards, and finalizes the selections based on the criteria. Makes recommendations to the current Board of Directors for selection and announcement at the Annual Dinner.

Board Member Nominating Team
Seeks qualified, interested and dedicated citizens to serve on the Chamber Board of Directors per the criteria in the constitution and by-laws. Makes recommendations to the current board of directors for selection, announcement and voting at the annual awards dinner.
